Assassin, soldier, and a mix of ancient Indian history and Hindu mythology, what more could you possibly want? There is a slew of epic fantasy novels coming out this year and The Tiger at Midnight should not be overlooked. This book sounds like an intense exploration of loss and revenge and I’m intrigued to see what these unforgivable choices are that sets our characters down a path that has plenty of risks.

That cover is beautiful! I couldn’t stop staring at the picture! I haven’t read many books with a lot of inspiration from Indian history and Hinduism, but I really want to expand my reading repertoire.

I have a terrible weakness for pretty covers haha. It looks so magical and atmospheric. I have a very limited knowledge of Indian history so I’m really excited to see how that’s woven into the story.
