Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Wishlist – Christmas Edition

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by the Broke and Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl where we get a new topic for a top 10 list.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

I hope you’re all having a lovely Christmas, and if you don’t celebrate then I hope you have a lovely day. I still can’t believe how fast Christmas has come around, but I hope Santa has been kind, got his fill of food, and treated us readers to a selection of wonderful books. I always think I am an easy person to shop for, but apparently, others don’t see it that way. I like to give Santa plenty of options though, so here are the books I hope to find under the Christmas tree.

I’ve been in the mood to read fantasy books lately, so it comes as no surprise to see that this list has plenty of fantasy options. A thousand beginning and endings were one of my most anticipated books of the year and I love this new trend of anthologies. Beartown has been on my tbr list for a while and I hope I can dig my teeth into this book soon.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and embrace the festivities.
Which books did you have on your wishlist?
Any plans for new years?

What an incredible wishlist ahh I'm spotting so many books I adored here. I hope you'll get to read Emergency Contact Words in Deep Blue and COBAB soon, I really liked these ones a whole lot 🙂

  2. I got The Bear and the Nightingale over Black Friday weekend but haven’t read it yet. I hope you got these for Christmas.

For New Year’s Eve, I’m going to go to work, then I’m going to rush home and watch the ball drop on TV a few minutes after I get home.

    1. That’s so exciting. I hope you enjoy the book. It sounds like a perfect winter book.

Sounds like a good plan. I’m making the most of my day off today before I go back to the daily grind of work. Happy New Year.

    1. I can’t say I’ve actually read a poetry book since high school, but I love seeing this resurgence of poetry collections being released. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and a happy new year. 😀

  3. Did Santa bring you any of these books?!?

Off this list, I’ve read Beartown, The Bear and the Nightingale, and Children of Blood and Bone. All of which I LOVED. If I had to pick one book, it would be The Bear and the Nightingale. The Winternight trilogy has quickly become a favorite series of mine 🙂

    1. Santa was very kind to me and treated me to a great mix of books.
Beartown has been bumped to the very top of the list, and I the Winternight trilogy sounds perfect for those cold, wintry nights.
