It only took 5 months but my reading mojo is back! May has been a blessing in disguise for me. I actually managed to read more than my average 2 books this month and I am over the moon with it. Who knew all it took was some heartache and sadness from the Winner’s Trilogy to snap me out of my slump. I have to say The Winner’s Trilogy has solidified its place as an all time favourite series. My heart suffered for it but the end result made it all worth it. After finishing that trilogy I really did not want to read another heavy book so I turned to Katie McGarry. Her books are addictive and the guys in her books are some of my favorite book boyfriends. So it’s safe to say I had a productive reading month.

June Goals
June has been off to a cracking start. I’ve already finished two books and I’m looking for my third. This month I’m planning to do a lot more commenting. I’ve been slacking on my blog hopping recently because my weekdays are so busy but I’m trying to get back in the flow of it. Instead of commenting every day I’ve decided to just dedicate one day to blog hopping. That’s the only way I can think of succeeding without exhausting myself.
I also want to catch up with my reviews. I’ve been doing well so far so I just want to keep that consistency going. You can also expect an unboxing of Fairy Loot’s May box on the blog this month.
Other than that I have no real goals for this month. I did start watching Sons of Anarchy recently but I’ve been so engrossed with reading that I’ve not continued on with the series just yet.
May has been my best reading month of the year.
What was your highlight of the month?
I really want to read that Thunder Road series. Seeing your reviews has made me want to hurry up and get to it even more.

It’s such an addictive series. In fact, anything Katie McGarry writes is addictive. Plus the romances are always super swoony, especially in Walk the Edge. Razor melts my heart in that book.

I need to save it for when I have some binge reading time then! I just binge read that Fallen Crest series and now I am in desperate need of reading time for some ARCs I’m supposed to have read by next week! YIKES!

My advice, just drop everything and read. 😛

I wish I could, but I can’t. They’re all books I committed to read for tours. 😦 I’ll have to try to get to them this summer, though!

Ugh, I’m currently trying to get my reading mojo back! Haven’t been reading too much this June because I’m on vacation at the moment, but I’m hoping to get back to reading once I come back! Also, ooh, I see some interesting posts I should check out! 😀
Thanks so much for linking back to my post about blog commenting! ❤

When you’re on holiday, reading usually takes a back seat haha. I’m just happy to finally be in the mood to read now, although I’ve run out of Katie McGarry books to read so we’ll see what happens next.

Ah I’m glad you’re out of your reading slump! And I’m glad you liked that post on Bookidote 😀 I’m totally slacking on blogging lately, so I hope I can do the same for sure!!

I have a list of discussion posts from last year that I’ve still not written up. Organizing my thoughts into coherent sentences is a challenge haha.

Glad to hear you were able to come out of your slump, and finished a new favorite series! I haven’t read the Winner’s Trilogy, but I’m going to have to check it out.
Good luck in June getting back into your blog hopping groove. Instead of blog hopping ever day, I usually try to blog hop towards the end of the week on Fridays & Saturdays.

The Winner’s Trilogy has officially made it into my all time favourite series. It’s such a painful series to read but the characters and the romance is beautifully developed.
I’ve started doing the same. I usually dedicate the weekend to catching up on comments and blog hopping. That way I keep my sanity haha.
