I am seriously so behind on my tags these days. It’s a miracle I even got this one done. I was tagged by the wonderful Jesse @ Books at Dawn. Be sure to head on over to his blog.

Reading on the couch or on the bed?
It used to be bed but I get so cosy I end up falling asleep more these days so now I tend to read on the couch.
Male main character or female main character?
Ah tricky. Can I say both? No? Fine then, I guess I’ll say male main character. Don’t ask me why cause I don’t know but I always love getting to see the male perspective. I’m also a fan of a dual narrative so that I can get both. I’m greedy and this really sounds more like a non answer haha.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks?
SWEEET SNACKS ALL THE WAY!
Trilogies or Quartets?
Trilogies. Three’s a nice number to a series. It’s just enough time to establish and develop the world/characters without exhausting the magic of the world.
First Person POV or Third Person?
Ah, another tricky one. I can read both and I like both but I’ll give third person a slight edge because it makes it easier to establish the world.
Reading at night or in the morning?
Third option: afternoon. (cause I work morning/evenings)
Libraries or Bookstores?
Bookstores. I love libraries, I really do but I prefer to have my own copy of the book.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
Laugh. I love it when I can get some good banter in a book or classic one liners that make me howl. It makes me smile.
Black Book Covers or White Book Covers?
Black, like my soul. ๐ Black just has that extra hint of drama and foreboding.
Character Driven or Plot Driven?
Character driven. I love, love, love exploring the complexities of the characters and when they have a nice arc from beginning to end I’m left smiling. That saying I don’t want it to be so character driven that there’s no plot.

This tag sounds fun!
I think my answers would be pretty much the same. I also love male characters and I prefer to read from their point of view, although I like to have as many perspectives as I can.
But as for white/black covers, I think white covers look very pleasing to look at! I don’t owe a lot of white books, while I have quite a large collection of black ones, that’s why I think I end up treasuring the former more.
Great answers, Lois! (I’ve always wanted to say that, but our names are pretty much the same??? Awesome, hahaha)

If I can have it from both the male and female perspective I’ll be happy haha. I do like some white covers, I think they can be very effective but I’m also more worried about spilling something on them haha.

I never use to fall asleep reading in bed but recently I’ve had a book drop on my face because I was so tired haha.

Great minds. ๐ Black just has more depth to it and I’m not as worried about spilling tea all over it haha.
