February Wrap Up 2017

As usual, I will start this post baffled by how fast February has flown by. Now, this month was chaotic and was pretty much defined by my terrible luck with technology. A month ago today my laptop decided it hates me and basically broke on me. Assuming all I needed was a screw to fix it I took it to the repair shop and guess what, I still don’t have it back. So blogging wise I’ve not been as interactive as I’d like to have been but I did get a good chunk of reading done. The highlight of this reading month has got to be getting my hands on A Conjuring of Light and it was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. It has put in a serious book coma because I cannot get over these wonderful characters.

March goals

Well, my main goal is to catch up with blog comments and blog hopping once my laptop is eventually fixed. Other than that I have no goals. A Conjuring of Light has put me in a pretty big book coma so I doubt I’ll be ready to pick up another book just yet.

Due to a slew of technical difficulties my blogging month was not as productive as I’d hope.
How did February treat you?

  1. Oh no! So sorry to hear about your laptop and I really hope it all works out eventually. Do you know when you’ll be getting it back? I’ve had my laptop sent for repairs throughout the years and always felt super lost bc it’s essentially my ~window to the world~, or something. 😛

Also ACOL, oh my goodness. Book coma is right – I haven’t wanted to read anything fantasy-ish since finishing that book. ❤

    1. Technology well and truly hates me right now. I got the laptop back and it worked for a total of 24 hours before it started acting up and then have someone tell me it’s basically on it’s final breaths so now I am looking for a new laptop which is a pain in itself. I feel so out of touch but with the weather being so nice at least I’ve had the great outdoors to distract me.

I haven’t wanted to read a book since ACOL. I’m still recovering from the emotional trauma. I refuse to accept that this is the last we’ve seen of Kell, Lila, Rhy and Luc, especially with some of the loose ends we had regarding Lila and a deal.

      1. Oh no! That’s so annoying – why didn’t they just tell you that in the first place rather than having you go through all the trouble of fixing it and then having it break on you? I hope you find a laptop that you like soon, and at least the weather has been helpful in that sense. 💕

YES! I’ve really only been reading contemporary. I also still really want to know Kell’s past. 🤔

    1. How can anyone recover from the emotional trauma of ACOL. My feels are a tangled mess. That ending was perfectly bittersweet. I refuse to accept that this is the last we see of these guys.

Short version of the laptop debacle is that I now need a new one. 😦

  2. It’s been a few days since this post went live, so please tell me you finally got your laptop back?? Not having mine would also drive me crazy. Also, in your March goals you should also include recovering from ACoL’s book coma and unwinding from work by watching Attack on Titan. 😉

    1. I got my laptop back and then 24 hours later it started acting up again and basically it’s on its death bed so now I have to hunt for anew laptop. Why does technology hate me so much?
I wish I could recover from this book coma but I can’t even watch Attack on Titan to start th recover process. 😥
