What’s not to love about this book. The synopsis basically covers everything I love in fantasy books. Sage sounds like a no nonsense kind of girl so I can see her sharp tongue getting her into trouble a lot. I’m also a sucker for a military man so I am happy to see how and when the solider and Sage’s paths cross. More than that I love the uncertainty that come with these political tension type situations because sooner or later things will unravel and chaos is ensued.
