This week I am waiting on
Seeker (Riders #2) by Veronica Rossi
Publication Date: May 16th 2017
Summary
When Daryn Martin claimed she was seeing “visions” during her sophomore year of high school, psychiatrists swiftly diagnosed her as suffering from schizophrenia. But Daryn knew they were wrong. The visions provided her with clues. They didn’t always make sense, but if she just paid attention, they’d take her to where she could help. As her ability strengthened, Daryn had to run away. The work she did was important. She saved lives.
Until Sebastian.
Since she sealed Sebastian in the dark dimension with Samrael — the last surviving demon in the Kindred — guilt has plagued Daryn. She’s distraught by what she had to do, and for the first time in two years, the visions have stopped completely. Samrael feeds on fear and anguish, his powers strengthened by them, and Sebastian has fed him well. Samrael has grown strong enough to create a castle, and an army that grows by the day. To make matters worse, by entering into the spectral realm, Daryn and the riders have only made him stronger.
Now it is up to Daryn to lead the riders again. They must find a way into Samrael’s stronghold and bring Sebastian out before it’s too late — for all of them. In her most critical role yet, she must protect those she loves, and defeat Samrael before he becomes unstoppbale, for the very fate of mankind rests in the hands of the seeker.
I really enjoyed the first installment in this series, Riders. The concept of these four individuals being the reincarnated version of the Four Horsemen hooked me from the get-go. Riders did a good job at establishing the world and the different character dynamics. I’m hoping Seeker expands on these foundations and that we get to know more about our Riders and Daryn as they embark on this rescue mission.
What’s your most anticipated book?
Hope you enjoy the next instalment.

I’m so ready to explore more of this world, especially with Sebastian trapped. It’ll be interesting to see how the team navigates without him.
