Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week I am waiting on
Wires and Nerve (Lunar Chronicles #4.1) by Marissa Meyer
Publication Date: January 21st 2017
Goodreads Summary
In her first graphic novel, bestselling author Marissa Meyer extends the world of the Lunar Chronicles with a brand-new, action-packed story about Iko, the android with a heart of (mechanized) gold. When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna, Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers’ leader. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity. With appearances by Cinder and the rest of the Rampion crew, this is a must-have for fans of the bestselling series.
You know I’m going to jump at any chance we get to revisit one of my favourite world. I’ve only read a few graphic novels but I can tell you now I do love the looks of these illustrations. I’m so happy that Iko will finally be given the spotlight and I can’t wait to see the trouble she gets up to and the fact that a certain royal guard will be keeping her company is a definite plus. On top of that I love that we’ll be getting appearences from our Rampion Crew.
What’s your most anticipated book?
Oh. My. God. I desperately want this. Adding this to my Goodreads list now! 🙂

I’ve always wanted to get an Iko story so when it was revealed that it’d be in graphic novel form everything seemed to click. 😀

I’m not a huge fan of graphic novels in general, but I’m soooo excited for this one! The Lunar Chronicles is my favorite, and I will basically read anything Marissa Meyer writes. She’s amazing. Iko is one of my favorite characters, so I’m really looking forward to this book.

Any chance to revisit the Lunar Chronicles is one I will take. I also feel like Iko’s story would be more effective in a graphic novel form and I’m so excited to see the artwork for the book. 😀
