Welcome to Weep.

Ever since devouring the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy, I have been eagerly awaiting for Strange the Dreamer. The synopsis is mysterious to say the least and that makes me a lot more intrigued. What I do know is that this book will undoubtedly be beautifully written and dreamlike. I have no idea what to expect but I know that I will most likely be captivated.

If you’re still unsure about this book I suggest reading this excerpt and if that hasn’t convinced you to add the book to your to be read list I don’t know what will. 😛

What’s your most anticipated book?

  1. Wow. The cover on this one is stunning. I want to read it just for that. Although. I’m not sure if I will. I loved the first 2/3 of Daughter of Smoke and Bone but hated the last 1/3. This sounds kind of more like the part that I didn’t like than the part that I did. It might be worth a try, though!

    1. The cover alone is enough to make me buy it, It’s just so pretty. I understand your reservations. I had some issues with the third book in the Smoke and Bone trilogy. Hopefully this book will deliver the goods. 😀

  3. That summary honestly is so badass! I just want to read the book ASAP! I’m very disappointed with the covers though. 😦 They could have come up with some really cool concepts given how creative the book seems to be. Oh well, maybe it will look better in person!
I hope you’ll love this when you get the chance to read it, Lois!

    1. The summary is epic and is such a tease cause I am desperate to know more about this world haha. I quite like the colours of the cover. It’s very dreamlike and for some reason quite serene but I definitely think they could have done something more with it, espeically after how beautiful the covers for the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy are. 🙂

  4. I thought I was desperate for this when I saw the blurb – but then the teaser of the first page dropped and holy sh– I NEED IT. Laini Taylor writes so well, I love her descriptions and lyrical language so much *cries with yearning*

    1. haha I know. I was coping pretty well with the wait for this book and then I read that teaser and now my patience is wearing thin. I adore Laini’s writing. It’s just so dreamlike and I never know what to expect from her books. 😀
