Goodreads Summary
Kaz Brekker and his crew have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn’t think they’d survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they’re right back to fighting for their lives. Double-crossed and left crippled by the kidnapping of a valuable team member, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz’s cunning and test the team’s fragile loyalties. A war will be waged on the city’s dark and twisting streets―a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of magic in the Grisha world.

Let’s all just take a moment to admire the beauty that is this cover. It’s so fierce.

Six of Crows was one of my favourite books of 2015 so naturally I am eagerly awaiting to get my hands on Crooked Kingdom. I have no idea where this story will take us; what I do know is that it will undoubtedly be intense, complex, all kinds of morally ambiguous and will make my shipping heart burst.

What’s your most anticipated book?

    1. The cover is everything I hoped for and so much more. I’m so excited about this book but I am slightly terrified at the possibility that one of the crew members might not make it to the end.

        1. Not that I know of. I’m just getting a bad feeling cause the series is a duology and L.B. is the kind of author that isn’t afraid to pull a move like that. Hopefully it won’t come to that though cause I will not be able to cope haha.

    1. YES! I can’t cope with Crooked Kingdom being the last book. I feel like there’s just so much more to tell. Plus the duology has me terrified that someone in the crew is going to die. I can’t have that happening.
