2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell: I liked it but I didn’t love it. 

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read? 

Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles 3.5) by Marissa Meyer: I thought this book would make me sympathise with Levana and get a hint at a possible redemption arc. Instead I came out hating her more than ever. 

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?

I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson: I only have one friend who I will happily let borrow my books and this one (along with I’ll Meet You There) was one book that I would constantly shove in her face.

Melina Marchetta: I honestly can’t believe I waited so long to read her books.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern: Magical realism is not my go to genre but this book was like stepping into a fairy-tale.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: A. MUST. READ.

I love re-reading so I have quite a few books that would like to experience once again.

The Burning Sky by Sherry Thomas: I was not expecting to love this series as much as I did. If you like all things magic, pick up this book.

I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios: Josh and Skylar go through so much and my heart was just hurting for them all the damn time. 

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2015?

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff: Need I say more?

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

I never really got angry with any book this year. I guess when it comes to provoking a reaction, Sofia, from Their Fractured Light stunned me when her actions led to a dire consequence. What can I say, I’m protective of my OTP.

Blogging/Bookish Life

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2015?  

Since I’ve only been blogging for about 5 months I’ve been navigating my way through a lot of new blogs and they are all so wonderful. To name a few Joey @ Another Afterthough, Jenna @ Reading With Jenna and Sarah @ Kerosene Lit have all made me feel so welcome in this community and their posts are amazing and insightful. 

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2015?

3. Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?  

I’ve written a few discussion posts but I must say because of how long it took me to actually write the post I will go with my Perception of Strength discussion.

I also liked the Character Spotlight Discussion post and hopefully I’ll be able to write more of them this year. 

4. Best event that you participated in.

*sighs* Living in the countryside means that there aren’t a lot of book events in my area. Now, if my favourite authors would make the journey to the UK I would get on that train and meet them. 

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2015?

Actually starting the blog. I’d been going back and forth for about a year before taking the dive and actually creating the blog in the summer. No regrets. 

Also interacting with fellow bloggers. This community is so friendly and welcoming and having other people to fangirl about books with has been so much fun.

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

Commenting. I think this is the part of blogging that takes up a lot of time; because I usually post huge paragraphs. However, I love commenting and want to do more this year.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?  

When it comes to reviews, my most popular one was Uprooted by Naomi Novik.

Comment wise the Top Ten Tuesday posts are the favourite.

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?  

Discussion posts. Mainly because I like knowing what other people think about said topic.

Also I’d love it if people would read more reviews. I find that some of them are all but ignored but those are my favourite posts.

9. Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

Society6. That site will make me broke with all its bookish merch. 

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year? 

I don’t do a lot of challenges because my mood reading makes me unpredictable. However, I am happy to report that I completed my goodreads challenge of 40 books by reading 45. Go me!

Looking Ahead

1. One Book You Didn’t Get To In 2015 But Will Be Your Number 1 Priority in 2016? 

Air Awakens by Elise Kova. I’ve finally got my hands on a copy of the book and I can’t wait to read it.

I’ve not thought about this much and I’ve not set a specific goal but I would like to write more discussion posts and also just be even more active in the community.  

6. A 2016 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone

I’ve yet to read a 2016 release but with all the hype surrounding Passenger by Alexandra Bracken I would recommend this book to readers.
