Hello everyone. October has come and gone in the blink of an eye. It’s been a good reading month for me. I’ve made a little bit of progress with my to be read pile but as always I’ve only gone and added more to the list.

The Perception of Strength: In which I discuss what it means to be strong and the characteristics that are often associated with the notion of strength.
My Favourite Posts for October
I have read a lot of wonderful discussion posts by fellow bloggers in October. These are but a few of my favourite posts.
Sarah @ Kerosene Lit kicked off the month with a discussion on the way our reading habits change, with a specific focus on how we no longer seem to consider Going Into a Book Blind.
Summer @ Xingsings wrote a fabulous post looking at the process of requesting and reviewing ARC’s. All things ARCs.
Joey @ Another After Thought also wrote this delightful post of the role of secondary characters and why they’re just as important as our main protagonist.Supporting Characters Are Protagonists Too.
I’m currently reading Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman and I’m hoping to have it finished withing the next few days.
I can guarantee you that this to be read list will probably change dramatically over the course of the month but I do intend to read these books by the end of the year.
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful month.
