September Wrap Up 2015

Hello everyone. Another month has flown by and I seriously don’t know where the time has gone. This month has been slow in terms of reading for me. I think one of the main reasons for this is because I’ve kind of been stuck in this mood where I’m not entirely sure what it is I want to read. On top of that I’ve been trying to make my way through my current to be read pile and most of the books are between 600 and 800 pages, which is quite daunting to me.

I always forget about the monthly wrap up post so I’m proud of myself for remembering this time haha.

These are the books I read this month:

Also with the end of summer I talked about why I love Winter Contemporaries.

My Favourite Posts For September

Shannon over at It Starts at Midnight wrote this fabulous post (and quiz) on learning to say ‘no.’ I really resonated with the post and if any of you guys find it difficult to refuse someone I’d check out this post: Learning To Say ‘No’

Aentee over at Read At Midnight wrote a post discussing how/if you can actually measure the success of a blog: Is It Possible To Measure Blogging Success

There are a lot more posts that I read and loved over the course of this month but due to my lack of organisation, I failed to note them down.

Anticipated October Releases

Okay so I’ve been talking a lot about Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff and I am so happy to find that the wait is almost over. The book comes out on the 20th of October and I am so excited to finally get my hands on this book. I’ve read a lot of early reviews and for the most part they’ve all been singing the praises of this world and the story. On top of that the marketing for the book has been phenomenal. Seriously everyone NEEDS to head on over to the official website and just watch all the videos, sneak peaks and fun features. This is definitely one of my most anticipated books of the year and I am sure I’m going to love it.

Well, there you have it, my September recap. Hopefully now that my book slump seems to have come to an end I will find more time to read. In between all the reading and blogging a lot of my favourite TV Shows are coming back so I can finally prepare myself for the emotional roller-coaster I’m bound to be taken on.

I hope you all have had a wonderful September and that good things continue to happen in October.

Happy reading.
