The Winner’s Kiss (The Winner’s Trilogy #3) by Marie Rutkoski

Publication Date:  March 1st 2016

Goodreads Summary
War has begun. Arin is in the thick of it, with the East as his ally and the empire as his enemy. He’s finally managed to dismiss the memory of Kestrel, even if he can’t quite forget her. Kestrel turned into someone he could no longer recognize: someone who cared more for the empire than for the lives of innocent people—and certainly more than she cared for him. At least, that’s what he thinks.

But far north lies a work camp where Kestrel is a prisoner. Can she manage to escape before she loses herself? As the war intensifies, both Kestrel and Arin discover unexpected roles in battle, terrible secrets, and a fragile hope. The world is changing. The East is pitted against the West, and Kestrel and Arin are caught between. In a game like this, can anybody really win?

Confession! I haven’t actually read the first two books in the series but I have been itching to do so for a long time. The reason I haven’t read these books yet is because I have been informed by several people that this series is an absolute emotional roller-coaster, filled with unpredictable twist and turns. Part of me so desperately want to read the book but another part of me wants to wait for The Winner’s Kiss to be released so I can read them all in one sitting. The premise of the series sounds very intriguing and it looks like we have an interesting mix of characters. I am so ready to get my hands on this book series, I seriously don’t know if I can wait any longer.

Note: The book covers for this series are stunning..

What’s your most anticipated book?

    1. I think sometimes reading the entire trilogy in one sitting makes the reading experience a lot more intense. I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on these books.
